The Extra Credit School Rewards Program is a community driven program committed to building relationships in the community by giving cash to schools and enticing customers to shop at Colony Square Mall. Schools will compete with each other for the highest accumulation of points and earn cash rewards. Additionally, extra credit points can be earned through shopping and participating in mall events and activities. Each participating
school will sign a contract promoting honesty and accountability.
How to Earn Points
Extra Credit is
a program designed to distribute $20,000 to area schools. There are two basic ways for each school to
A) Mall Sales Receipts
Each dollar spent at the mall earns the participating school one point. There will be opportunities to earn double points which will include double point retailers and double point shopping days.
Participation in Mall Events and Activities

How to Redeem Points
There are four places each school can redeem points: A) at the mall’s Extra Credit display, B) at Colony Center, C) the mall office, and D) at participating schools.
A) Extra Credit Mall Display
Customers can simply write the name of the school on the back of their store receipt and place it in the designated slot for their school at the mall’s Extra Credit display (on a cart in the common area)
or C) Colony Center or Mall Office
If customers wish to retain their mall receipts, they can request a point pass from Colony Center (next to Edie’s Deli in the food court) or the mall office and drop it in the appropriate slot for their school.
D) Participating School
Each school should have a location for parents, students and teachers to drop off their receipts or point passes. Photocopies of receipts cannot be accepted.
& School Rewards
Schools can earn points September 2017 through
April 2018. Cash rewards will be distributed to the winning schools in May 2018.
