HALL OF FAMERS!
Nine individuals and one team (the first ever) were inducted into the Zanesville City Schools Hall of Fame during ceremonies on Saturday, May 12th, in the ZHS Cafetorium. This was the fifth induction class since the inception of the Hall of Fame in 2007. Thanks to Pauline Johnson for providing some of the photos included here.

ROBOTICS TEAM HONORED!
ZHS Robotics Team
The robotics team that represented ZHS in the world championships last month in Anaheim, Calif., was honored Tuesday, May 15th, by the Board of Education and administration. From left are team member Harley Rider, advisor Dr. Bill Stewart, team member Jeff Suciu, board member Scott Bunting, board member Anne Hoffer, board member Lee Eppley, board member Janet Stewart, treasurer Jolene Carter, team member Brad Suciu and superintendent Terry Martin.     The final 2011-12 meeting of the Local Professional Development Committee has been changed to noon Monday, June 4th, at the Administration Center.

  • 'Run4Grant' aids
    Foundation fundsgrant hickman
    The Grant Hickman Foundation is sponsoring the inaugural "Run4Grant" starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 2nd, in Sulsberger Stadium. The event is a 5-kilometer run/walk and a kids' "fun run" (one-quarter mile). Proceeds benefit The Grant Hickman Foundation, a component fund of the Muskingum County Community Foundation.
