BUILDING A LEGACY

Students and staff of the Muskingum Valley New Tech Academy at ZHS were joined by many others on Friday, May 17th, for the dedication of the Legacy Community & Educational Garden. Students of Mrs. Brooke Ripple (biology) and Mrs. Sarah Rollison (math) developed the entire project, and a grant from the Taylor-McHenry Foundation help fund its construction. The event included performances by the ZHS Symphonic Chorale, as well as dedication of a tiered herb garden in honor of the late Grant Hickman, a classmate of the sophomores. "Legacy" is also an acronym for "Leading, Educating, Growing and Advancing Community Youth."
