2021-22 Blended Learning Option

2021-22 Blended Learning Option

What is Blended Learning?

Blended learning means the delivery of instruction in a combination of time in a supervised physical location away from home (at school) and an online delivery method (at home) whereby the student has some element of control over time, place, path, or pace of learning. The amount of time required “at school” and “remote” can vary between learners based upon attendance, progress, and the academic needs of the student. This provides the student with the best of both instructional delivery modalities, in-person and remote.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

If you think your child would be interested in attending school during the 2021-22 school year utilizing the Blended Learning Option, please add your child’s name to the “interest list” that is posted on the Zanesville City Schools website. Should there be significant interest, Zanesville City Schools would offer the Blended Learning Option to students. However, if there is not significant interest, Zanesville City Schools would only be offering the traditional 5-days-per-week, in-person instructional delivery model for the upcoming school year. Therefore, it is imperative that if you have an interest in the Blended Learning Option, please sign the “interest list” for each of the children in your household who would attend in the Blended Learning Option for the 2021-22 school year.
Should you need additional information regarding the Blended Learning Option, please contact your child’s principal or the main district office of Zanesville City Schools.
