Applications for students wishing to attend Zanesville City Schools through open enrollment for 2026-27 school year are available through the link below. Documents are also available at the Zanesville City Schools Administration Center, 956 Moxahala Avenue, Zanesville.

Under the open enrollment policy, students living in the East Muskingum, Franklin, Maysville, Tri-Valley and West Muskingum local school districts in Muskingum County, as well as any other school districts, may apply to attend Zanesville City Schools.

Anyone requesting further information about open enrollment should contact the Student Services Department at 740-454-9751.

Applications will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents are responsible for transporting open enrollment students to and from school, or to an existing Zanesville City Schools bus route.

Completed applications will be accepted from March 1 to March 31, 2026. Applications received after March 31st will be considered.
