REGISTER FOR VOLLEYBALL CAMPS NOW!

ZHS Volleyball is hosting a pair of "Smash It!" camps during the week of June 6th.
  • Camp for grades 7-12 is two sessions per day – 9 to 11:30 AM and noon to 2 PM – from June 6th through 9th. Click here for full information and a registration form. Total cost is $80.
  • Camp for grades 3-6 is one session per day – 5 to 7 PM – from June 6th through 8th. Click here for full information and a registration form. Total cost is $30.
All sessions will be conducted in Winland Memorial Gymnasium at Zanesville High School.

CAMP DATES SET FOR OVERNIGHT, ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL

An overnight camp for boys basketball players in grades 7 to 12, and an elementary school level camp for boys and girls in grades 3 to 6, will take place this summer in Winland Memorial Gymnasium at ZHS. The overnight camp is June 1-3 (click here for a flyer and registration form) and the elementary camp is June 13-17 (click here for a flyer and registration form).

UPDATED STUDENT QUARANTINE GUIDELINES

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Zanesville City Schools is committed to the safety and health of our student and staff. The Ohio Department of Health has recently sent out NEW K-12 Student Quarantine Guidelines for “Mask to Stay Option” and “Test to Play Option."
These new guidelines offer an in-school alternative for students who have been exposed to COVID-19 in the classroom or during a school related activity. These changes incorporate mask wearing and testing to reduce the chance of spread of COVID-19 and to reduce the number of students being sent home to quarantine. The Isolation guidelines and procedures will remain the same for COVID-19 positive students and staff.
Please carefully read the new quarantine guidelines (LINKS BELOW) . If you have any questions regarding these new guidelines, please contact Kevin Appleman, Executive Director of Operations, at the Zanesville Board of Education (740-454-9751).
 

INSURANCE AVAILABLE FOR CHROMEBOOK USERS

ZCS has partnered with Securranty to allow students to purchase insurance on their assigned device. The cost is $24.95 for the entire school year, with a $0 deductible. ZCS handles shipping to Securranty if there is a claim filed. Act soon – students who do not register with Securranty within 30 days of receiving a device will be subject to the costs listed within the Technology Handbook. Go to this link to learn more and to purchase a policy.
