The Ohio Department of Transportation began a reconstruction project of Interstate 70 in the summer of 2021, with expected completion date in the fall of 2027. This will affect the section between the U.S. 40 interchange on the west side of the city and the Ohio 93 interchange on the east side. The project will include ramp closures as well as bridge reconstructions in the corridor. We recommend visiting this ODOT website to view the plans, and be ready to adjust your trips to our venues for delayed traffic or closed accesses during this timeframe.

From
the East
(via I-70)
  • Exit at State Street (No. 153A).
  • At the top of the ramp, turn right (State Street becomes Blue Avenue as the road curves left at the Speedway station).
  • Follow State Street / Blue Avenue approximately 0.9 miles, through two lights (at McIntire and Adair avenues).
  • Turn left onto ZHS campus.
From
the West
(via I-70)
  • Exit at State Street (No. 153).
  • At the end of the ramp, turn left on Jackson Street and proceed less than a tenth of a mile to State Street.
  • Turn left on State Street (State Street becomes Blue Avenue as the road curves left at the Speedway station).
  • Follow State Street / Blue Avenue approximately 1.1 miles through three traffic lights (at I-70 westbound ramp, and at McIntire and Adair avenues).
  • Turn left onto ZHS campus.
From
the North
(via Ohio 60 & Northpointe Drive)
  • From the intersection of Ohio 60 and Northpointe Drive (Lowe's), proceed south on Ohio 60 (becomes Maple Avenue) for 1.6 miles to Bell Street (Wal-Mart).
  • Turn right onto Bell Street and proceed one-half mile to West Taylor Street.
  • Turn right onto West Taylor and proceed about 0.15 miles to Blue Avenue.
  • Turn left onto Blue Avenue and proceed just less than one-half mile.
  • Turn right onto ZHS campus.
From
the South
(via U.S. 22 / Ohio 93)
  • Upon entering downtown Zanesville via the Sixth Street Bridge, proceed north on Sixth Street (one way) to I-70.
  • Turn left onto the westbound on-ramp. (RAMP CLOSED)
  • Stay in the ramp lane and exit directly onto Maple Avenue.
  • At the first traffic light (Adair Avenue), turn left.
  • Sixth Street becomes Zane Street as it passes under I-70 and curves to the right.
  • Turn left at the first light (Underwood Street / Adair Avenue).
  • Proceed on Adair about one-third of a mile 1.1 miles to the next third traffic light (Blue Avenue).
  • Turn right onto Blue Avenue.
  • Proceed on Blue about one-half mile.
  • Turn left onto ZHS campus.

  • Follow the drive to the left of the ZMS building around to the back of the building.

PARKING | GPS 
There is a $3 per passenger-car charge for all football and basketball games at ZHS (and at ZMS as overflow parking for events at ZHS), as well as all OHSAA tournament games held at our facilities.

HANDICAP PARKING
There are several areas for handicap parking around Sulsberger Stadium, as well as accesible entrances and seating areas. THIS MAP designates those places. To confirm handicap parking prior to an event, please contact our Athletics Department at 740-588-4023 during regular business hours.
