ANNUAL DEVILETTES HOLIDAY BAZAAR IS OCTOBER 30th

The annual Devilettes Holiday Bazaar will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 30th, at Secrest Auditorium in downtown Zanesville. Approximately 60 different vendors will be selling crafts that day, and over 60 raffles will be drawn with donations from each vendor. Food will be available all day, featuring turkey and noodles, homemade vegetable soup, all types of sandwiches, nachos, and delicious pies. Admission is free.

DISTRICT SEEKING SUB TEACHERS & SUB AIDES

Looking for a great place to work? 
Zanesville City Schools is looking for wonderful people to work in our school buildings as Substitute Teachers and Substitute Paraprofessional Aides.
  • Substitute Paraprofessional Aide pay is $10 per hour. 
  • Zanesville City Schools has raised the pay rate of Substitute Teachers to $100 per day.
You can choose your building and/or grade level, if you have the proper credentials. This includes a background check and a license for a Substitute Teacher or an aide permit for Substitute Paraprofessional Aides.

INSURANCE AVAILABLE FOR CHROMEBOOK USERS

ZCS has partnered with Securranty to allow students to purchase insurance on their assigned device. The cost is $24.95 for the entire school year, with a $0 deductible. ZCS handles shipping to Securranty if there is a claim filed. Act soon – students who do not register with Securranty within 30 days of receiving a device will be subject to the costs listed within the Technology Handbook. Go to this link to learn more and to purchase a policy. BEWARE OF POTENTIAL LIVESTREAM SCAMMERS!

NOTICE: We are once again seeing tweets and Facebook posts tagging various ZCS / ZHS accounts regarding livestreaming of sports events. We currently have no plans to livestream this fall, and we will only promote livestreaming that our opponents can verify for us.
