Teacher recognitions & awards: Samantha Balo, Zanesville Rotary Club Teacher of the Year.

 

Staff of the Month: Teacher is chosen and given a trophy for their desk. That teacher then selects the winner for the next month.

 

Weekly recognition for outstanding work in the building with a written note from administration, as well as lunch purchased for the  teacher at the end of the week.

• Connection for Blessing Bags through the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department.
• CARE Team connection (Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Children's Services, Muskingum Behavioral Health).
• Grandparent Volunteer Association.
• Five father-child breakfast events each year, through All-Pro Dad's / Forever Dads.
• JME Movie Night (Sept. 14th)
• Trunk-or-Treat (Oct. 26th)
• I Love Math Day – Parents invited (Feb. 14th)
• Spring Festival (March 28th)
• JME Color Run (May 12th, at Ohio University-Zanesville / Zane State College campus)

Robotics at JME: Our team won the state competition championship as well as the Design Award in its first year. It also competed in the VEX Robotics world championships. There are 21 students currently involved in the program.
