School Bus Rules & Regulations

NOTE: Failure to comply with these rules and regulations will result in disciplinary action, which could include temporary or permanent loss of bus-riding privileges! For your child's safety and to deter inappropriate behavior, we monitor school bus behavior through the use of on-board video cameras.

  • NO FORMS OF BULLYING will be tolerated.
  •  
  • Students must arrive at their bus stop 10 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive.
  •  
  • Behavior at the bus stop must not threaten life, limb, or property of any individual. Students must not hit, push, or shove any student, parent, or bus driver – either on the bus or at the bus stop.
  •  
  • Students must NOT carry any type of weapon onto the bus or have it at the bus top. Students may NOT bring any type of animal, reptile, insect, etc., onto the bus (either dead or alive).
  •  
  • Students must go directly to their assigned seats and remained seated. Students must NOT eat or drink on the bus at any time.
  •  
  • Students must leave or board the bus only at their ASSIGNED BUS STOP, unless they have written parental or administrative authorization.
  •  
  • Students must not use profane language on the bus. Students must observe classroom conduct and obey the bus driver at all times.
  •  
  • Students may carry items such as band instruments, laptops, school projects, etc., onto the bus, as long as the items can be held on their laps.
  •  
  • Students will NOT damage or deface the inside or outside of the bus. Students will NOT throw trash onto the floor of the bus. Students must not throw or stick anything out of the bus windows.
  •  
  • Students must NOT have alcohol or illegal drugs in their possession on the bus or at the bus stop. Students must NOT use any form of tobacco on the bus or at the bus stop.
  •  
  • Students must remain quiet at all railroad tracks.
