The students are studying different types of variables such as constant, control, independent, & dependent. They watched a Variables PowerPoint & practiced identifying different variables. Then created a Variables Mini Poster to check for understanding. They've practiced using the Scientific Method when performing the Gummy Bear Lab and now will use their Scientific Thinking to predict which potatoes might have the most and least amount of germs after being exposed to certain areas in the classroom.Watch for more pictures when on Day #2 we bring out the potatoes after they have been in a dark closet for a week! I wonder whose hypothesis will be confirmed or rejected? You will also see our Data & Final Conclusion that we will Communicate to you.
