6thGrade Math – 4th Grading Period Outline
The following concepts are planned for the fourth grading period. Some material may take several days,some less than a day. All concepts listed here will be tested at the end of the grading period.

SP.1 Recognize a statistical question.
SP.2 Describe the distribution of data by its center, spread and overall shape.
SP.3 Recognize that a measure of center and a measure of variation can be described with a single number.
SP.4 Display data using dot plots, histograms and box plots.
SP.5 Summarize numerical data sets in relation to their context; describe the investigation, collection of data and measurement used. Give measures of center and variability.
