State Auditor awards ZCS, ZCHS

 
The Auditor of State's office has once again recognized Zanesville City Schools and Zanesville Community High School for outstanding financial reporting for the fiscal year ending in 2019 This is the third straight award for ZCS and the fourth straight for ZCHS. District Superintendent Dr. Doug Baker and District Treasurer Mike Young accepted the ZCS award from Southeast District Liaison Dominic Chiano (photo upper left), while Mr. Young, who is also treasurer for ZCHS, accepted the school's award from Ciano along with ZCHS Director/Principal Jeff Moore (photo upper right).

Girls tournament tickets

Tickets for the girls varsity basketball tournament game at Maysville on February 19th re on sale now in Athletics Office during regular business hours. They are $6 for adults and students. Tip-off is 7 PM.

Updated Code of Conduct now available

Our Extracurricular Code of Conduct has been updated. You can read it here. Parental and student-athlete sign-offs on the new version will be at the fall meeting on Weds. Student Wellness Committee

The Zanesville City School District is looking for interested parents and/or community leaders who would be interested in becoming a member of the district Student Wellness Committee. The committee meets four times a year – March, August, October, and December – to review the policy. The purpose of the policy is to make sure our students are being well taken care of in regard to regular physical activity and good nutrition. We want our students to be the best they can be. If you are interested in becoming a part of this endeavor, please contact Bev Guinsler at Zanesville Middle School (740-453-0711) or Vicki Wheeler at the administration office (740-454-9751).
