Archery club to meet

The ZCS archery club informational meeting will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 23rd, in the John McIntire Elementary School Cafetorium. We will discuss the 2019-20 archery season. The Appalachian Archery Conference season will begin in November, with team shoot-offs in December, before the winter break. Students in grades 6 to 12 are eligible to participate.

Coach candidates sought

We are seeking a candidate to fill the following coaching position :
  • Assistant Coach, Girls Varsity Basketball

Updated Code of Conduct now available

Our Extracurricular Code of Conduct has been updated. You can read it here. Parental and student-athlete sign-offs on the new version will be at the fall meeting on Weds. Student Wellness Committee

The Zanesville City School District is looking for interested parents and/or community leaders who would be interested in becoming a member of the district Student Wellness Committee. The committee meets four times a year – March, August, October, and December – to review the policy. The purpose of the policy is to make sure our students are being well taken care of in regard to regular physical activity and good nutrition. We want our students to be the best they can be. If you are interested in becoming a part of this endeavor, please contact Bev Guinsler at Zanesville Middle School (740-453-0711) or Vicki Wheeler at the administration office (740-454-9751).
